GRINDER OPERATOR at Forestry Resources LLC – DeLand, Florida

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complies with all Company policies and procedures which includes Substance Abuse policy but not limited to.
• Adhered to all safety and operational practices.
• Willing to participate in ALL4Zero Safety Program.
• Able to perform change over and set up in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoots and corrects problems efficiently.
• Maintain preventive maintenance in accordance with a daily checklist and adjustments to the plant equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs on Loader, Screen Unit, Tractor, and company vehicles.
• Perform minor field repairs and control run off and leach aid.
• Perform minimal electrical tasks.
• Complete work orders and various other tracking devices.
• Responsible for housekeeping throughout plant’s areas.
• Adhere to safety and operational practices.
• Ability to work with Teams and alone.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures.
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Must be able to distinguish various raw materials to avoid any cross-contamination.
• Able to work at heights, heavy lifting, capable of wearing a respirator, hardhat, and safety glasses.
• Responsible for notifying supervisor with safety issues.
• Responsible for housekeeping at the unloading areas, plant receiving areas, and all associated grounds.
• Follow testing protocol for state requirements. (Temperature, Moisture, Air, etc.)
