About This Position
We are looking for a professional and courteous hybrid Valet-Bell Attendant to join our team at the Residence Inn Boston Harbor on Tudor Wharf. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at the property. You will not only be responsible for safely parking and retrieving vehicles, but also ensuring a seamless arrival and departure service in cooperation with the front desk!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly upon arrival and assist with valet parking services in a friendly and professional manner.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles in accordance with hotel procedures and traffic regulations.
- Maintain a polished appearance and deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Assist guests with directions, luggage, or other inquiries as needed.
- Work collaboratively with front desk to ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the valet area.
- Deliver packages and amenities to guest rooms.
- Report any and all potential guest complaints, issues, and concerns to the MOD/Supervisor/Lead.
- Support, maintain, and participate in other duties as determined necessary by supervisor.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Possess the ability to operate a manual transmission.
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior experience in hospitality or valet services is preferred.
