Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, experienced, hands-on Maintenance & Grounds Assistant to join our team at Leonards Cove Holiday Village. This role is ideal for someone practical, physically fit, and proud of keeping our holiday park safe, tidy, and looking its best for guests all year round.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out daily maintenance across lodges, caravans, and facilities
Support grounds presentation: mowing, trimming, weeding, light landscaping
Assist with hot tub servicing and cleaning (training provided if required)
Identify and fix small maintenance issues independently
Help with basic plumbing, carpentry, or painting repairs
Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
Work from daily maintenance lists and keep tasks organised
Communicate clearly with the team and report completed jobs
Uphold high standards of site safety and guest experience
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in holiday parks, caravan maintenance is preferred
Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or similar practical role
Good physical fitness and stamina, role involves outdoor and manual work
Basic skills in plumbing, carpentry, or electrics (desirable)
Hot tub maintenance experience or willingness to learn (training provided)
Reliable timekeeping and good organisational skills
Team player with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
Full UK driving licence preferred
Desirable Certifications
Chainsaw operation
Hot tub or pool water management
Basic electrical or plumbing tickets
