Yaqub's Logistics are currently seeking for enthusiastic self-employed drivers in Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Our Delivery Associates are people with 'can do' attitude and great customer service skills.

Job details:

• Route with 108 starting rate
• Performance bonuses and incentives available

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering items in a timely and professional manner.
• Utilize driving skills to navigate efficiently and adhere to traffic laws.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed and ensure proper handling of goods.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.

Qualifications, experience, and skills required:

• Previous experience would be ideal
• Full UK or EU driving License
• No points such as DR driving under the influence of or NI - driving with no insurance. Only 6 SP points are acceptable.
• Able to lift up to 23kg
• Van driving experience preferred
• English at communicative level

Summary

As a Van Driver, you will be a vital part of our team, responsible for safe and efficient transportation of goods to our customers. With core skills in driving and a valid driver's license, you will navigate routes to deliver packages promptly. Your premium skills in delivery driving and commercial driving experience will ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Additionally, your relevant skills in warehouse operations, heavy lifting, and strong communication abilities will enable you to interact effectively with customers and handle various delivery tasks with professionalism.
