RADIOLOGY DIRECTOR at Davis Health System – Philippi, West Virginia

Position Summary:

Responsible for the administration of Diagnostic Imaging Services. Establishes policies, procedures, standards, and objectives for the provision of Diagnostic Imaging services. Interacts with the radiologists to ensure testes are efficiently and accurately performed. Plans, directs, and evaluates service line activities on a system wide basis to ensure the achievement of Davis Health System’s strategic plan and True North goals. Consults with affiliated departments and hospitals to ensure consistent delivery of Diagnostic Imaging Services.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education: Master’s Degree with a concentration in health care management

Minimum Experience: 5 years’ experience in similar position with working knowledge of Radiology Department operations.

Required Course Training: Accredited program in Radiologic Technology or associated imaging modality

Required Certification/Registration: ARRT or other imaging modality credentials as appropriate

State of WV license and registration as required

BLS Certification

Management Experience: Supervisory experience required

Physical Demands: Lifts, positions, pushes and/or transfers patients

Lifts equipment and supplies

Working Conditions: Subject to electrical and radiant energy hazards
