Rebar Laborer at Cast-Crete USA Inc – Bonita Springs, Florida

What You'll Do

* Material handle including lifting, pushing, pulling, cutting and shearing rebar and steel products.

* Attend training regarding applicable equipment
* Perform additional duties as needed
* Assist in loading fabricated rebar on trailers and unloading stock material from trailers
* Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
* Operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
* Participates and proactively uphold a safe culture
* Crosstrain on multiple machines
* Operate rebar fabrication equipment, such as shears, benders, cranes, forklift, threaders, forging, etc.

What You'll Need

* Must be able to work outside under all weather conditions to include working in the heat and cold weather
* Able and willing to cross train as required
* Follow OSHA, EPA, and company safety policies, rules, and regulations
* Possess a strong work ethic and practice safe working habits
* Ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment, with strong work ethic, pay attention to detail and find root causes for issues
* Ability to operate fabrication machines in a safe manner without supervision
* Able to work overtime as business requires
* Must be able to lift 80 pounds or more.
* Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the industrial field
* Excellent communication skills, in both written and verbal form are necessary to be successful in this role
* Minimum 1 year working with heavy industrial environment experience preferred but not required. Working with rebar a plus.
* Must be able to work overtime, either planned or unplanned for emergency situations
* Must possess work ethic and ability to be punctual
* Stand for long periods of time
