Operations Data Analyst at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center – Carthage, New York

Pay Range: $36.54-$48.41*

This is an onsite role and will require that you are in Upstate NY to support our facilities in this area.

Our company is a network of healthcare facilities and providers located in small towns and rural areas across northern New York state, including hospitals and an adult care facility. Our central goal is to leverage data to gain a deeper understanding of our performance and make more informed decisions that ultimately benefit the people we serve. We aim to build a system that presents actionable crucial information in an easily digestible format.

Responsibilities:

The individual in this role will be responsible for connecting our various electronic medical record systems (EMRs) directly to Tableau Cloud(TM). This integration will enable the company to develop dashboards displaying live data. Key responsibilities include understanding the data storage methods within different EMRs and developing the processes to efficiently transfer that data into Tableau. Furthermore, this role will involve building the dashboards themselves, ensuring that the company's leaders can easily access and interpret the information presented.

Skills Required

• Proven experience with Tableau Cloud(TM) for data analysis and the creation of dashboards.

• A strong understanding of data integration processes.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and their underlying data structures.

• Knowledge of various types of data connections, including HL7 interfaces and cloud-based connections.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in relevant discipline OR Associate degree combined with 2-5 years of work experience
