About This Position

About the Role:

As a Host at Jajaja West Village, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to warmly welcome guests, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of seating throughout the restaurant. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive atmosphere, addressing guest inquiries, and providing information about the menu and specials. Additionally, you will collaborate with the service team to ensure that all guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a host or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
  • Familiarity with reservation management systems.
  • Bilingual abilities to cater to a diverse clientele.
