As a Customer Experience Associate - Retail Concierge, your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming and seamless shopping experience for our customers. Reporting to the Customer Experience Team Lead (CXTL) the CXA plays a critical role in assisting our customers. handling transactions efficiently while providing knowledgeable recommendations and addressing customer inquiries. Your aim is to enhance each customer’s visit through exceptional service, fostering loyalty and ensuring a positive perception of our brand. Your contributions are essential in maintaining our commitment to high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities.
Greeting customers and establishing a positive rapport.Completion of all financial transactions with the customers, ensuring every item is correctly scanned.Always maintaining the balance of the cash drawer, opening/closing of cash/balancing receipts at the end of the day.Making sure to achieve the cashier metrics daily.Stay informed of in-store promotions and the monthly flyers.Utilize phone and iPad portals when needed to check inventory, look up orders, and inform customers when orders are ready for pick-up.Collaboratively working as a member of the sales team to meet sales goals.Contribute to building and maintaining a friendly, professional, and service-oriented store/work environment.Stock shelves, racks, hooks, and bins, and price products correctly.Assisting in the return of merchandise. Educate/update yourself on product returns and warranty plans.Be a good listener and offer customers the right help.Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Comply with the company’s policy and procedure regarding loss prevention and health and safetyContinuously expand product knowledge and stay in tune with industry trends i.e., new products, services, tool kits, etc.Memorize product locations and direct customers.Train and supervise new cashiers and retail staff.Perform various duties throughout the store as required. Qualifications and Skills:
Dynamic with excellent customer service skills.A high school diploma with previous cashier experience would be an asset.Excellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishDetail-oriented, highly observant, and accurate.Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Google applications, and some mathematical aptitude.Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently.A multi-tasker who can perform in a fast-paced environment.Adaptable to change and demonstrate flexibility.Effective organizational and time management skillsSome heavy lifting is required; candidates must be comfortable with bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
