Accounting Manager in Georgetown, Delaware at Great Outdoor Cottages

This role combines accounting leadership with hands-on accounts payable and accounts receivable management. The position in conjunction with the SVP oversees daily accounting operations, financial reporting, AP/AR processes, inventory and cost accounting support, cash management, collections, vendor administration, and ERP-driven accounting activities in a manufacturing environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred. Willing to consider someone in pursuit of a degree with strong experience.
• Ability to work independently making decisions that affect financial reporting and cash management.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or construction accounting environments.
• Strong AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or comparable ERP systems.
• Advanced attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
