General Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level acquisition and project management support for DoD programs and initiatives
- Provide analytical support in the execution and planning of DoD acquisition programs, to include logistics, program management, cost, financial, or management analysis
- Develop and/or review acquisition documentation, program reports, papers, and procedures
- Applies DoD 5000 series acquisition regulations in execution of programs
- Conduct complex acquisition analysis, planning, and management tasks to support the coordination and facilitation of successful Programmatic Decisions, Milestone Reviews, and Milestone Assessment Team Reviews
- Review and analyze program requirements, acquisition strategies, and program documentation (i.e., Milestone Assessment documents and reports, Acquisition Program Baseline documents) to draft PMO-level processes; provide logical recommendations on program execution/strategy; formulate responses to formal and informal taskers; support high-level risk management activities; and actively track work products and action items across multiple teams
- Execute the administrative and technical activities related to technical reviews and audits using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Office tools, not limited to document routing and related workflows and maintenance of relevant data repositories and guidance (i.e., templates, standard operating procedures, job aids, user guides)
- Schedule, facilitate, and participate in Working Groups, Integrated Product Team Meetings, Technical Reviews, and Decision Briefings with internal and external stakeholders
Additional Requirements:
- Draft Automated Message Handling System Naval Messages and correspondence
- Conduct risk identification, develop risk mitigation strategies, and report and track risks in accordance with the program’s Risk Management Plan
- Support risk management efforts by addressing action items; preparing agenda, presentation materials, and meeting minutes; participating in a variety of reoccurring risk management working groups and meetings; and populating data in the program’s preferred risk tracking database
- Perform detailed schedule analysis, to include critical path evaluation and schedule risk assessment, to develop, deliver, and maintain comprehensive Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Develop and deliver complete IMS Reports, to include 30/60/90 Outlooks, Variance Reports, Past-Due Reports; and Milestone snapshots
- Provide technical input and administrative support to facilitate the development of audience-appropriate briefs and presentation materials, to include meeting coordination and participation
- Update program Fact Books as needed to incorporate new or updated program and system information
- Develop, update, and maintain the Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center classified SharePoint site
- Manage, review, and update program information in government data repositories and management tools, to include posting approved documentation; supporting workflow documentation reviews; extracting requested data; and generating reports
- Develop and submit Trip Reports for attended events where travel is required
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree & 7-9 Years of Experience
