The Role

We are looking for a detail-driven Assembler I to join our Burbank production team. You will build precision assemblies and subassemblies that go into the manufacturing equipment our customers rely on every day, working from engineering drawings, bills of materials, and production orders to produce quality products that meet exacting specifications.

This is hands-on, meaningful work in a professional manufacturing environment where your contributions are visible and valued.

What you will do

  • Assemble components and subassemblies following approved work instructions and engineering documentation
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials, and production orders
  • Use hand tools, torque tools, and standard manufacturing equipment safely and accurately
  • Conduct visual inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure product meets specifications
  • Complete production records and documentation in accordance with GMP and quality system requirements
  • Perform rework and repair activities in accordance with engineering specifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Collaborate with the assembly team to meet production goals

What you bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school coursework is a plus
  • 1+ years of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read assembly drawings and interpret work instructions
  • Comfort with hand tools, measuring instruments, and production equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • A CAN-DO attitude and a drive to see projects through to completion

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and production equipment.
  • May involve exposure to dust, oils, coolants, and cleaning agents depending on the site.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • Comfort with hand tools, measuring instruments, and production equipment

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods (up to 8 to 10 hours per shift).
  • Frequent use of hands for assembling small to medium-sized components, including fine motor skills and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally (with assistance if needed).
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as required to access equipment and materials.
  • Visual acuity required for detailed inspection and assembly work, including use of magnification tools where applicable.

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Scale | OT eligible
  • $22.53 – $31.54
  • Actual offer based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
