This is a senior strategic role responsible for designing and leading the full social media ecosystem across a diverse portfolio of brands operating in fast-evolving Southeast Asian markets. The position focuses on building a seamless integration between brand-owned social channels and creator-led marketing initiatives to drive engagement, brand affinity, and measurable business impact. You will operate at both strategic and operational levels, guiding content direction, influencer programs, and cross-channel storytelling. The role requires close collaboration with editorial, search, and innovation teams to ensure a unified omni-channel presence. In addition, you will lead and mentor a regional team while acting as a trusted advisor to clients. This is a highly dynamic environment where creativity, data-driven thinking, and leadership converge to shape impactful digital experiences.
- Design and execute integrated social media strategies combining brand-owned channels and creator-driven campaigns into a cohesive ecosystem.
- Lead social media operations across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, including content strategy and community engagement.
- Develop and manage end-to-end influencer marketing programs, including talent identification, negotiation, execution, and performance measurement.
- Collaborate with editorial, search, and innovation teams to deliver unified omni-channel campaigns and ensure consistent storytelling across channels.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a regional social media team, fostering creativity, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.
- Prepare and deliver data-driven proposals and strategic recommendations to clients, ensuring alignment and trust.
- Optionally leverage analytics tools to evaluate performance, derive insights, and optimize social strategies.
- Optionally support paid social media planning and optimization to amplify brand and creator content effectively.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in social media management, ideally within an agency environment.
- Proven ability to build and execute integrated social strategies combining brand and influencer ecosystems.
- Strong expertise in influencer marketing, including campaign planning, execution, and ROI analysis.
- Experience working with clients in sectors such as finance, insurance, healthcare, parenting, food, or beauty is highly valued.
- Hands-on experience with paid social campaigns, including optimization, budgeting, and A/B testing.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategic insights.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and mentoring diverse teams.
- Exposure to multi-market or regional (SEA) campaigns is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages such as Filipino, Indonesian, or Malay are an advantage.
