This role is designed for a highly experienced virtualization expert who is passionate about sharing deep technical knowledge and enabling enterprise IT teams to succeed with VMware technologies. You will play a key role in delivering high-impact, instructor-led training programs across virtual and in-person environments. The position involves working with global enterprise clients, IT professionals, and engineering teams to build strong capabilities in virtualization, cloud infrastructure, and data center technologies. You will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that combine theory with real-world lab-based practice. The role requires both strong technical mastery and excellent communication skills to simplify complex architectures for diverse audiences. You will also contribute to curriculum innovation, certification readiness, and hands-on lab development. This is a highly visible and influential role in a fast-evolving enterprise technology landscape.
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions (online and classroom) on VMware technologies, including workshops, boot camps, and certification-focused programs for enterprise clients and IT professionals.
- Design, develop, and continuously enhance training content, labs, assessments, and learning materials aligned with VMware standards and real-world use cases.
- Provide advanced technical demonstrations, architectural walkthroughs, and troubleshooting guidance during training sessions.
- Build and maintain VMware lab environments, ensuring stability, performance, and availability for hands-on learning experiences.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand training needs and customize programs accordingly while supporting pre-sales technical presentations.
- Mentor junior trainers and collaborate with solution architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure training relevance and quality.
- Troubleshoot complex virtualization, networking, and infrastructure issues during live sessions and lab environments.
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in VMware virtualization, enterprise infrastructure, and technical training delivery.
- Strong expertise in VMware technologies such as vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, Horizon, VMware Cloud Foundation, SRM, Aria/vRealize Suite, and Tanzu.
- Deep understanding of virtualization concepts including HA, DRS, vMotion, FT, storage, compute, and network virtualization.
- Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud environments, data center operations, and Windows/Linux system administration.
- Experience with automation and scripting using PowerCLI and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Proven ability to deliver complex technical training to global enterprise audiences in both virtual and classroom settings.
- Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Relevant certifications such as VCP, VCAP, VCDX (preferred), and VMware Certified Trainer are highly desirable.
