ABOUT THE ROLE
Blue Peak Tents is one of the largest event tent companies in the Midwest. We are looking for dependable, high-energy crew members to load, transport, install, and tear down commercial event tents and related equipment. This is a hands-on, physically demanding job for people who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in teamwork, and are mechanically inclined.
No CDL required for the vast majority of our fleet. Most of our trucks are non-CDL vehicles under 26,001 lbs that require an Illinois C-Class license. If you do not have a license at all, that is fine too — we hire laborers who work alongside drivers performing the same installation and teardown work on site.

Same installation duties as above, plus you will drive a company truck (with or without trailer) to transport equipment to and from job sites. Valid Illinois C-Class license in good standing and clean MVR required. No CDL needed. This is our primary hiring need.
Don't have your C-Class yet? If you hold a D-Class (standard) license in good standing with a clean MVR and experience driving trucks or larger vehicles, we will sponsor you to obtain your C-Class at no cost. We provide a state study guide, paid time to take the tests, and a company truck for the driving portion. The process involves a written test and a driving test at the Secretary of State. Reach out and we will walk you through it.
We also accept applications from CDL Class B and Class A holders for a limited number of positions involving larger vehicles. CDL roles are filled selectively and compensated at higher rates.
