Sr. Lifecycle Manager, Engagement

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Lifecycle Manager, Engagement based in United States.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic lifecycle marketing leader to drive customer engagement, conversion, and long-term loyalty in a fast-growing direct-to-consumer environment. You will own the customer journey from initial acquisition through post-purchase engagement, creating personalized experiences that strengthen relationships and maximize lifetime value. Working cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, product, and analytics teams, you'll leverage automation, AI, experimentation, and data insights to optimize every stage of the customer lifecycle. The role offers significant ownership, creative freedom, and the opportunity to shape innovative engagement strategies while working remotely with a collaborative, high-performing team.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for customer acquisition and engagement journeys across email, SMS, and onsite experiences.
  • Own and optimize lifecycle automation programs, including welcome series, lead conversion, abandoned cart, and other high-impact customer journeys.
  • Identify and implement new customer touchpoints that increase engagement, conversion, and long-term retention throughout the lifecycle.
  • Leverage AI, predictive modeling, personalization, gamification, and zero-party data strategies to create highly individualized customer experiences.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams including site operations, merchandising, paid media, brand marketing, and loyalty to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • Monitor campaign performance, list health, deliverability, compliance, and customer data quality while ensuring adherence to applicable privacy regulations.
  • Design and execute comprehensive A/B and multivariate testing programs to continuously improve engagement, conversion, and revenue performance.
  • Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior, translating insights into actionable recommendations that drive measurable business growth.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Lifecycle Marketing, CRM, Growth Marketing, or a related field within a fast-paced B2C e-commerce or direct-to-consumer environment.
  • Demonstrated success building lifecycle strategies that drive measurable customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Hands-on experience with leading customer engagement platforms such as Klaviyo, Bloomreach, Iterable, or similar marketing automation tools.
  • Strong understanding of customer data architecture, APIs, segmentation, and marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Experience collaborating with data science teams to implement AI and machine learning models, including recommendation engines or propensity modeling.
  • Advanced analytical skills with expertise in A/B testing, experimentation, performance measurement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of email and SMS marketing regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, TCPA, and industry best practices.
  • SQL proficiency or similar data querying experience is considered a strong advantage.
  • Excellent project management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, innovative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
