At Atlanta Autism Center (AAC), we provide 100% center-based, early diagnostic and therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder, ages 6 and under. We are a privately-held, physician-owned company with an interdisciplinary team of highly-trained professionals. We are currently seeking a dedicated ACD to join our team. This center-based role offers a structured yet flexible schedule, allowing ACDs to focus on quality clinical care, mentorship, and professional growth while maintaining a work-life balance.

Scope:

The Assistant Clinical Director will function in both an operational and clinical capacity. The primary responsibilities are to effectively and efficiently support the assigned center(s), provide clinical support to BTs, RBTs, BCBAs, and other clinical staff within their assigned center(s), and ensure that clients and families are receiving high-quality, effective, assent-based, and ethical clinical services. This role will support two of our locations and require regular travel between Loganville and Covington.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision to each BCBA and BCBA Intern assigned to you
  • Provide assistance and support with clinic operations
  • Provide case management support as needed

Performance Requirements:

  • Upload all documentation to EMR and organize files according to company guidelines.
  • Conduct and document monthly BST Perform checks for all assigned BCBAs and RBTs within POD.
  • Meet monthly supervision requirements for both RBTs and clients, in alignment with current BACB standards.
  • Provide caregiver training a minimum of two times per month.
  • Submit all clinical reports and documentation by the designated deadlines.
  • Complete and maintain accurate BCBA caseload trackers regularly.
  • Collaborate with other service providers to ensure effective coordination of care.
  • Provide timely feedback to BCBAs and RBTs and document all feedback in Paylocity.
  • Train and mentor BCBAs and RBTs to address and improve identified clinical skill deficits.

Requirements:

Standards in Communications:

  • Act as a liaison between training, clinical leadership, and operations.
  • Support a collaborative, communicative, and solutions-focused training culture.
  • Work closely with caregivers and team members to ensure training promotes continuity of care when necessary

Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working as a BCBA (3-5 years preferred)
  • At least 5 years’ experience working directly with children diagnosed with autism and/or intellectual/developmental delays
  • Master’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or a related field from an accredited institution—must include a BACB-verified coursework sequence
  • Maintain an active BCBA certification from BACB.
  • Maintain an active BCBA license (Starting October 1, 2025)
