Postdoctoral Research Associate
Location: Various
Salary Range or Pay Grade: Salary Range - PDRA: $65,000-$70,000/year and ARS: $73,700 - $79,000/year
The Physics Department at Princeton University is seeking applicants for postdoctoral and more senior research positions.
The term of appointment is based on rank. Positions at the postdoctoral rank are for one year with the possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding; those hired at a more senior ranks may have multi-year appointments.
The work location for this position may be in-person on campus at Princeton University, as well as, off-campus locations which include, but are not limited to, CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, FermiLab near Chicago, Illinois, at LMGS in L'Aguila, Italy, at CAPACITY in Caserta, Italy or at Ash River Laboratory near Ash River, Minnesota, subject prior approval and discussion with the Principal Investigator.
This position is not eligible for sponsorship of an H-1B Visa requiring consular processing; other Visa sponsorships (including H-1B Visas not requiring consular processing) may be available, as appropriate.
QualificationsApplicants with experience in the following areas are encourages to apply: Experimental condensed matter physics, cosmology and astrophysics, particle astrophysics and dark matter, high energry, atomic, pulsar and biophysics; theoretical cosmology, condensed matter, mathematical, and particle physics. Candidates for the position must have a Doctorate Degree in Physics or a related discipline.
