Sales Operations Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Operations Analyst based in the United States.

This role is focused on optimizing sales performance through data-driven insights, operational excellence, and process improvement in a fast-growing business environment.
It serves as a critical link between sales teams and leadership, ensuring workflows, reporting, and technology enable efficient execution and informed decision-making.
The position combines analytics, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration to improve pipeline health, sales productivity, and revenue outcomes.
Working closely with sales, finance, marketing, legal, and deal support teams, the role helps streamline operations and remove barriers that impact growth.
A strong emphasis is placed on building scalable processes, leveraging modern sales technologies, and transforming complex data into actionable recommendations.

Accountabilities:
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, improve pipeline performance, and provide actionable insights that support business growth.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor sales performance, forecasting accuracy, and quota attainment.
  • Build and refine forecasting models to support strategic planning and executive decision-making.
  • Evaluate and optimize sales processes, CRM workflows, and sales technology tools to improve productivity and adoption.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, account executives, marketing, finance, legal, and other stakeholders to streamline deal execution and operational workflows.
  • Support deal desk activities by assisting with pricing analysis, deal structures, margin tracking, and commercial guidance.
  • Contribute to territory planning, resource allocation, and sales capacity modeling as the organization scales.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and proactively recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL, Python, or business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, CRM best practices, and performance metrics.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms; knowledge of workflow automation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments in support of sales and revenue objectives.
  • Preferred: familiarity with financial services, fintech, cryptocurrency, or regulated industries.
