Job Description

Brand Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Brand Designer based in the United States.

This role is an opportunity to shape and elevate a global brand within a fast-moving, developer-first environment. You will create compelling visual storytelling across digital, print, and experiential formats, helping translate complex technical ideas into clear, engaging, and memorable design systems. Working closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, developer relations, and events, you will play a key role in how the brand shows up across conferences, presentations, campaigns, and community touchpoints. The environment is highly collaborative, async-first, and built for designers who thrive in autonomy and rapid iteration. You will have ownership across end-to-end creative projects, from concept to execution, with significant influence on visual direction and consistency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending storytelling with systems thinking while designing for a global developer audience. Your work will directly shape how millions of developers perceive and interact with the brand.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and evolve visual storytelling across presentations, decks, printed materials, digital campaigns, and event assets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, developer relations, success, enterprise, and event teams to translate ideas into impactful creative output.
  • Design cohesive visual narratives that ensure consistency across digital, print, social, and physical brand touchpoints.
  • Own end-to-end design execution, from concept development through final production across multiple formats.
  • Maintain and enforce strong brand consistency, ensuring adherence to established visual identity and messaging standards.
  • Produce high-quality assets for conferences, swag, campaigns, video content, and community-facing initiatives.
  • Continuously raise the bar for craft, detail, and storytelling quality across all design deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Experience designing across multiple formats, including digital, print, and presentation design.
  • Solid understanding of production and print processes, including materials and specifications.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in async, remote, or globally distributed teams.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand design, storytelling, and visual system thinking.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced environments with ambiguity, iteration, and evolving priorities.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote position based in the United States
  • Equity ownership (ESOP) participation
  • Technology allowance to support your ideal setup (laptop, tools, accessories)
  • Comprehensive health coverage, including strong support for dependents
  • Annual off-site gatherings for collaboration and team connection
  • Flexible, async-first work culture with autonomy over schedule
  • Professional development budget for learning, courses, and conferences
  • Inclusive, global, and open-source-driven team environment
