DevSecOps Engineer in Ashburn, Virginia at C Mack Solutions LLC

We are searching for a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team to support a dynamic customer software development and production environment. There is always some new tool to learn in our environment - it's dynamic and changing, and there are lots of opportunities to make a difference for our speed and efficiency. What You Will Be Doing:

• As part of a DevSecOps team, work closely with development and operations staff to implement and support a delivery pipeline that allows for continuous, automated integration, deployment and testing
• Develop improvements to security, availability, scalability, and performance of the environment
• Support DevSecOps techniques such as continuous improvement, release planning, continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous testing, and continuous monitoring and feedback
• Support production deployments and issue resolution (during on and off-hours on a rotating basis with other engineers)

U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate must have an active DHS clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree combined with at least 3 years of technical infrastructure experience
• Experience developing and maintaining a continuous integration pipeline using tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo
• Experience scripting and programming for infrastructure automation (e.g. Shell, Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience with monitoring a production environment with tools like AppDynamics and Splunk
• Experience with tools such as Git, Maven, Nexus, BitBucket, Stash, Gradle
• Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with deployment to a government-supported cloud environment
• Experience providing production support for a mission-critical system
• Experience with AWS technologies

Work Location: This position is limited to candidates residing in U.S. states where the company is currently registered to employ team members.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000 annually

This position may be filled at the Entry, Mid, Senior, or SME level based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.
Final compensation will be determined based on level alignment, experience, education, and internal equity.
