Job Description
Summary/Objective
Oversees the placement of challenged individuals into community jobs, assist with their training, and be available to both the employer and employee.
Essential Functions
- Performs job search for consumers.
- Interviews consumers and completes intake forms.
- Drives consumers to conduct job searches and to submit employment applications as needed. Assists consumers with completion of resumes.
- Acts as an employment advocate for consumers.
- Assists consumers with application completion.
- Assists with on-the-job training, assist the employer with training of consumers.
- Is responsible for Chrono completion and VR and Waiver billing.
- Responsible to submit Quarterly VR Reports
- Acts as a Resource for Employer
- Performs other as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises the Project Search Assistant.
Work Environment and Conditions
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as a computer, telephone and fax/copy machine. The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate.

While performing the duties of this the employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or fell and talk or hear. This position will frequently require sitting and walking; reaching with hands and arms. This position will occasionally require to standing and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. This position could require occasional driving. The employee will occasionally be required to lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Expected Hours of Work
Expected hours of work are 7:30a.m.-4:00p.m. Monday-Friday.
Travel
This position will requires traveling. Traveling will be less than 5% and will generally be within the city or county.
Required Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED; or six months to one year of related experience.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Training required by state guidelines. Must possess a current valid driver’s license. Must become certified in CPR, First Aid and CPI.
