Private Duty Home Health Caregiver in Romulus, Michigan at CareOne Senior Care

CareOne Senior Care is currently hiring compassionate, dependable individuals to provide one-on-one in-home care for clients in Romulus, Michigan. As a Direct Care Worker, you'll help clients remain independent and comfortable in their own homes by providing personalized, non-medical assistance tailored to their individual needs.

No two days are exactly alike. Depending on the client's care plan, your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)

• Providing companionship and engaging conversation

• Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene

• Preparing meals and assisting with hydration

• Completing light housekeeping and household tasks

• Assisting with walking, repositioning, and mobility support

• Providing medication reminders

• Escorting clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities when assigned

• Reporting changes in a client's condition to the office

• Completing daily visit documentation

We offer a variety of work schedules, including:

• Full-time and part-time opportunities

• Morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts

• Starting pay: $14.00–$17.00 per hour

• Couples care opportunities may pay up to $22.50 per hour

We're looking for individuals who are:

• At least 18 years old

• Compassionate, respectful, and dependable

• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes

• Strong communicators with a positive attitude

• In possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current auto insurance, and vehicle registration

• Able to pass a criminal background check

• Willing to obtain a TB test before beginning client assignments if needed

Previous experience in caregiving, home health, direct support, senior care, healthcare, hospitality, childcare, or customer service is welcomed but not required. We provide training for motivated individuals who are committed to delivering quality care.
