Program Coordinator – Special Educator Network (SEN) & School Inclusion Program (SIP)
Position Summary
The Program Coordinator for the Special Educator Network (SEN) and School Inclusion Program (SIP) is responsible for supporting the coordination, implementation, and ongoing success of programs that provide specialized educational and inclusion services to students in Jewish day schools. The Special Educator Network supports special educators within Jewish school settings through guidance, best practices and facilities financial support for these programs. The School Inclusion Program provides full-time classroom assistants who offer individualized support to students in Jewish day school classrooms.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the daily operations and delivery of SEN and SIP programs across participating schools.
- Support the placement, onboarding, and ongoing coordination of Master Special Educators and classroom assistants.
- Maintain regular communication with school administrators, educators, families, and program staff.
- Monitor program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and program records.
- Assist with program planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with school leadership, teachers, special education teams, and community partners.
- Collaborate with schools to understand student needs and ensure appropriate supports are in place.
- Act as a liaison between schools, families, and program staff to promote effective communication and student success.
- Support inclusive practices within school environments.
- Provide guidance and support related to students with diverse learning needs, developmental differences, and/or mental health concerns.
- Support the implementation of individualized strategies that promote student independence, engagement, and educational success.
- Understand and navigate special education processes, accommodations, and school-based support systems.
- Support staff in addressing challenges and implementing effective student-centered approaches.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Education, Special Education or a related field.
- Experience working within school systems, special education programs, or student support services.
- Background and/or experience supporting children, youth, and families.
- Knowledge of inclusive education practices and student support strategies.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Jewish day schools or community-based educational settings.
- Knowledge of special education regulations, accommodations, and school-based support services.
- Experience supervising or coordinating educational support staff.
Work Environment
This position requires regular collaboration with schools, educators, families, and program staff. The Program Coordinator will spend time working within school environments and supporting program activities across multiple educational settings.
