Job Description

Title: Process Technician (Split Shift 1st-2nd)
Reports To: Molding Supervisor
Shift Availability: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Position Summary: The Process Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting molding equipment and processes to ensure efficient production.

Duties and Responsibilities:
 Set up and operate injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment according to production schedules and specifications.
 Monitor production processes, adjusting as needed to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency.
 Perform tooling adjustments, and machine adjustments as required to support production requirements.
 Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
 Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
 Work collaboratively with production team members to identify and implement process improvements, including cycle time optimization and waste reduction initiatives.
 Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
 Ensure compliance with Amaneos policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to Quality.
 OTHER REASONABLE DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

Preferred Education and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in plastics processing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, with a focus on injection molding processes.
• Hands-on experience operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, with knowledge of mold setup and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues effectively.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and practices, with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
