Job Description
Title: Process Technician (Split Shift 1st-2nd)
Reports To: Molding Supervisor
Position Summary: The Process Technician is responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting molding equipment and processes to ensure efficient production.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment according to production schedules and specifications.
Monitor production processes, adjusting as needed to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency.
Perform tooling adjustments, and machine adjustments as required to support production requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Work collaboratively with production team members to identify and implement process improvements, including cycle time optimization and waste reduction initiatives.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Ensure compliance with Amaneos policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to Quality.

Preferred Education and Skills:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in plastics processing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in plastics manufacturing, with a focus on injection molding processes.
• Hands-on experience operating injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, with knowledge of mold setup and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues effectively.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and practices, with a commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
