Granby Industries Transport USA LLC is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers to join our transportation team in Kaleva, Michigan!

One of the best things about driving for Granby is that we have our own dedicated freight. Our drivers haul propane tanks for our company's operations, delivering new tanks to customers and picking up tanks that need to come back. We're not out looking for freight every day to keep our trucks moving!

We're looking for dependable drivers who enjoy being on the road, don't mind getting out of the truck to do some hands-on work, and take pride in a job well done.

Our drivers do more than just drive from one location to another.

You'll deliver propane tanks to customers and pick up tanks that need to be returned. You'll also operate a truck-mounted HIAB crane to safely load and unload tanks.

Both deliveries and pickups are part of the job. Some assignments involve more hands-on work than others, and we're looking for drivers who are comfortable with that.

We appreciate drivers who take care of their equipment, work safely, communicate with our transportation team, and do their best to complete their assigned routes.

Our transportation operations are primarily scheduled Monday through Friday, but we do need drivers who can be flexible when necessary.

Occasional Saturday work may be required depending on customer needs, assigned routes, or work that couldn't be completed during the regular workweek.

Some routes may also require overnight travel.

We're looking for experienced CDL-A drivers who are dependable, safety-minded, and enjoy a job that offers a little more variety than just driving.

Our drivers deliver new propane tanks to customers and pick up used tanks containing less than 5% residual propane to bring back for refurbishment. You'll also have the opportunity to learn how to operate our truck-mounted HIAB cranes.

Here's what we're looking for:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
• HazMat Endorsement: Already have your HazMat endorsement? Great! If not, we're willing to work with qualified drivers who can obtain it. A valid HazMat endorsement is required before performing propane tank pickups.
• A current DOT medical certification, as required.
• An acceptable driving record and the ability to meet applicable DOT and FMCSA driver qualification requirements.
• Experience safely operating commercial trucks and trailers.
• A willingness to learn and follow applicable hazardous materials transportation and safety requirements.
• Comfort with both deliveries and pickups, including some hands-on, physically demanding work.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and secure propane tanks.
• Willingness to learn how to operate our truck-mounted HIAB cranes.
• Flexibility for occasional Saturday work and overnight trips when needed.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• A commitment to working safely, taking care of equipment, and doing your best to complete assigned work.

• Delivering new propane tanks to customers as part of our dedicated freight operation.
• Picking up used propane tanks containing less than 5% residual propane and returning them for refurbishment once you've obtained your HazMat endorsement and completed the required training.
• Operating truck-mounted HIAB cranes to safely load, unload, and position tanks.
• Properly securing tanks for transportation.
• Completing required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintaining accurate electronic logs, shipping papers, and delivery and pickup records.
• Following applicable DOT and hazardous materials transportation procedures.
• Staying in touch with our transportation team about routes, delays, equipment concerns, and customer needs.
• Keeping trucks and equipment clean, safe, and in good working condition.
• Working with our team to complete assigned deliveries and pickups safely and on schedule.

If you have experience with any of the following, that's a bonus!

• Hazardous materials transportation or an existing HazMat endorsement.
• Truck-mounted HIAB cranes or similar lifting equipment.
• Specialized freight and load securement.
• Hands-on deliveries and pickups at customer locations.

Don't have crane experience? That's okay! We're happy to train the right driver.
