Position: Payroll Administrator
Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: M-F 4 hrs per day
Compensation: $51,313.00-$75,462.00

Position Purpose:
- Pays employees and compiles payroll information by managing payroll preparation; completing reports; maintaining records.
- Serves as a technical point-of-contact and is responsible for the configuration, support, maintenance and output of payroll function.
Essential Functions:
- Administers the bi-weekly payroll process which includes the accurate and timely processing of payroll, general ledger interface, State and Federal tax liability, third party deductions and garnishments, insurance premiums and 403b contributions.
- Audits, analyzes and ensures the security, integrity and ongoing maintenance of data controls across departmental payroll systems (Workforce Now, i-reports, i-pay, ACA manager, employee portal etc.) system structuring.
- Creates and delivers Payroll data metrics both routinely and ad-hoc to internal business partners at all levels.
- Routinely audits ADP systems to ensure key Payroll data controls are functioning correctly.
- Liaison with internal business partners on system education, payroll and policy announcements, and error and conflict resolution as needed.
- Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation and entering of data.
- Assures that existing and new payroll programs are adaptable and standardized computer and reporting systems.
- Determines payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income, social security taxes, employer’s social security, unemployment and leave payments.
- Remains up to date and knowledgeable of payroll and reporting laws complying with federal, state and local requirements.
General Job requirements:
Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication
- Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Working Knowledge of ADP or other payroll processing systems
- At least 5 or more years of Payroll experience required
- Bachelors in HR or other degree or equivalent years of HR/Payroll management experience
- Ability to implement and maintain HR software systems
- Good project management skills
