Position: Server Assistant

Location: Palms Place 4321 W Flamingo Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89103

Shift: Open, Swing, Closing, Weekends, Holidays (Mandatory)

Starting Base Salary: $12.00 per hour plus tips

Expected Hours: 10 - 30 hours per week (based upon business needs)

Supervisory: Reports to Server Lead, Shift Supervisor, Assist GM, and General Manager

Position Summary:

The Server Assistant supports the frontofhouse team by ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for all guests. This role is responsible for assisting servers with table maintenance, delivering food, refilling beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and keeping service areas clean and organized. The Server Assistant helps maintain the pace of service by anticipating needs, responding quickly to requests, and working closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff. Success in this position requires strong teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to stay focused and efficient in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist servers by delivering food, refilling beverages, and clearing tables
• Run food from the kitchen to guests with accuracy and professionalism
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, service stations, and sidework areas
• Reset tables quickly and efficiently to support smooth seating flow
• Support servers during busy shifts with a positive, teamfocused attitude
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and report excessive consumption to servers, bartenders, and management
• Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines
• Perform side work and other responsibilities as assigned by management
• Work collaboratively with servers, hosts, bartenders, and Expo to ensure smooth service
• Provide friendly, attentive service to ensure guests feel welcomed and cared for

What Were Looking For:

• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
• Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused during highvolume service
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and eager to serve
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Understanding of health regulations and ability to enforce cleanliness standards.
• Required certifications Food Handlers Certification and Title 4
