Athletic Trainer (ATC) - Workplace Health Provider in Northfield , Minnesota at Northfield Hospital & Clinics

• Comprehensive On-Site health services: Early Medical Intervention Assessments

Qualifications

• Certified through the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers
• Licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice
• A Bachelor's degree is required for certification prior to December 31, 2022. A Master’s Degree is required for certification after January 1, 2023.
• Current BLS must be enrolled in NH+C RQI program and complete the requirements within 90 days of enrollment. Must remain current (complete quarterly assignments prior to the end of each calendar quarter)
• Complete required de-escalation and crisis prevention training upon hire and on an annual basis, including adherence to NH+C reporting standards, preparedness protocols, and response procedures.
• Workplace Violence education in New Employee Orientation and annually thereafter.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently to ensure safe and effective communication in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge base working in the field of industrial medicine, biomechanics, kinesiology and/or ergonomics, preferred

Hours and Institutional Support

• 80 hours per two-week pay period
• Monday through Friday; shift start and end times may vary based on onsite and clinic needs
• Supports internal teams and collaborates with external business partners/clients
• Additional casual/call opportunities are available, but not required
