Production Scheduler in Surgoinsville, Tennessee at Bharat Forge PMT Technologie LLC

The purpose of this position is to plan, coordinate and schedule the Forge Shop and Final Inspection Departments.

• Master schedule the Forge Shop and Final Inspection priorities and capacity.
• Communicate delivery dates of completed products to sales.
• Determine forge and crew resources needed and make necessary recommendations to increase short-term and long-term capacity to satisfy customer demands.
• Generate and issue on a weekly basis, production variance reports and on-time delivery reports from the Forge Shop and Final Inspection.
• Run and analyze weekly inventory generated reports to audit the accuracy of the Forge and Final production plan.
• Attend daily production meetings to coordinate and communicate with Sales and After-Forge Planning; also next jobs for cutting, drilling and Final Inspection.
• Coordinate JIT customers for on-time delivery.
• Communicate daily priorities and production schedule changes to manufacturing, sales and shipping.
• Communicate with Management regarding plant capacities and job and tooling transfers.
