Recently recognized as one of the 2025 Best RIAs to Work For, we are continuing to grow and are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team.
About the Role
The IT Support Specialist serves as a key member of the Information Technology team and is responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to employees across the organization. Acting as a primary point of contact for technology-related issues and requests, this individual will provide white-glove support, assist with system administration tasks, manage technology inventory, and help ensure employees have the tools and access needed to work effectively.
In addition to end-user support responsibilities, the IT Support Specialist will have opportunities to participate in technology projects, develop technical expertise, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the firm's technology platform.
This position is based at the firm's Westborough, MA headquarters and supports both local and remote employees nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide responsive, white-glove technical support to employees both onsite and remotely
- Manage and prioritize support requests through the firm's ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, application, printing, and connectivity issues
- Provision, configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities including account provisioning, access management, equipment deployment, and recovery
- Manage inventory of technology assets and maintain accurate asset records
- Administer user accounts, security groups, permissions, and access controls
- Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, and related business systems
- Assist with administration and support of the firm's phone system
- Perform routine maintenance and monitoring of Windows servers and supporting infrastructure
- Assist with software deployments, upgrades, patching, and endpoint management
- Document technical procedures, workflows, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in technology projects and process improvement initiatives
- Utilize AI and LLM-based tools to improve workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with the IT Team and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for technology improvements
- Coordinate with third-party technology vendors and managed service providers to resolve issues, support maintenance activities, and assist with technology initiatives.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
- 2–5 years of experience providing IT support in a professional business environment
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
Technical Skills
- Proficiency supporting Windows 11 environments
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, and Intune environments
- Experience provisioning and supporting end-user hardware
- Understanding of identity and access management concepts
- Experience with onboarding and offboarding processes
- A/V and conference room configuration and troubleshooting
- Exposure to Windows Server administration and maintenance
- Experience utilizing AI and LLM tools to improve workflows, documentation, and operational efficiency
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and a willingness to develop cloud administration skills

Salary Description
$65,000 - $80,000
