Standard Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

This position is part of our standard 50-hour workweek schedule. Additional overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required based on project needs, weather conditions, and customer schedules.

Candidates must be willing to be flexible as project demands and schedules may change.

Position Summary:

The Pipelayer is responsible for installing storm, sanitary, and waterline systems while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Install storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and waterline pipe.
  • Set manholes, catch basins, and fire hydrants.
  • Check and adjust grades for proper slopes and inverts.
  • Set up and use pipe lasers, levels, and transit equipment.
  • Work with reinforced concrete, PVC, HDPE, and ductile iron pipe.
  • Safely work in and around trenches and excavations.
  • Assist with testing and punch-list activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required: Knowledge of safe trenching procedures, utility installation experience, ability to read grades and benchmarks, and a strong commitment to safety.
Preferred: OSHA certification and equipment operating experience.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting.
  • Must be able to pick up, lift, carry, and move up to 80 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.
  • Must be able to safely work around heavy equipment, excavation activities, and active construction sites.

Compensation: $25 per hour

Compensation includes the opportunity for consistent overtime through our standard 50-hour work schedule.
