Position Overview

The Clinical Specialist Lead is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution, coordination, and development of the U.S. Clinical Team supporting the Geniant® platform.

This is a player-coach leadership role responsible for providing procedural support, mentoring and developing Clinical Specialists, driving utilization and adoption strategies, and ensuring consistent clinical execution across customer accounts.

The role serves as the operational leader of the Clinical Team and plays a critical role in surgeon onboarding, workflow optimization, procedural adoption, and installed-base utilization growth.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Clinical Team Leadership
    • Provide day-to-day leadership, coordination, and mentorship for the Clinical Specialist team
    • Support onboarding, development, and performance management of Clinical Specialists
    • Establish and reinforce best practices for procedural support and customer engagement
    • Coordinate field priorities, scheduling, and resource allocation across accounts and procedures
  2. Clinical Execution & Case Support
    • Provide direct procedural support and clinical expertise during system evaluations, onboarding, and live cases
    • Support surgeon workflow optimization and procedural adoption initiatives
    • Ensure high-quality clinical support and customer responsiveness across the installed base
  1. Utilization & Adoption Strategy
    • Drive utilization growth strategies across installed accounts
    • Monitor procedural activity and support activation of new surgeons and use cases
    • Collaborate with Sales and Clinical teams to expand procedural adoption and account engagement
    • Support development of scalable clinical best practices and adoption pathways
  2. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner closely with Sales, Training & Education, Marketing, Technical Services, and Clinical Strategy & Innovation teams
    • Provide field feedback to support workflow improvements and future development opportunities
    • Support strategic account initiatives and customer experience optimization
  3. Operational & Team Coordination
    • Manage and maintain projects utilizing designated project management platforms to support prioritization, cross-functional alignment, execution tracking, accountability, and timely completion of strategic initiatives.
    • Serve as the first point of escalation for day-to-day clinical execution challenges
    • Maintain visibility across active accounts, utilization trends, and customer support requirements
    • Support organizational scalability through consistent execution and team alignment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; clinical or healthcare-related background preferred
  • Experience in neurosurgical robotics, navigation, neuromodulation, or enabling technologies strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or team coordination experience preferred
  • Strong procedural support and operating room experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced growth environment
