The likely salary range for this position is $97,968 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEER SR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Identifies, analyzes, and resolves system problems.
- Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
- Evaluate and assess server security compliance and employ mitigations.
- Support all Security and SOX compliance configurations.
- Plans and directs upgrades of operating systems, patches, and systems enhancements.
- Sets up end user and service accounts.
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Oracle and Azure Cloud server build/maintenance.
- Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
- Provides guidance and work leadership to less experienced administrators, and end users as required.
- Participates in special projects as required.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Required Technical Skills
- Demonstrated Operations experience with Linux platform (i.e. RHEL, Oracle Enterprise) including administration, management, performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience with CLOUD platforms (e.g. Azure, OCI)
- Experience with patching, Repo servers and maintaining server builds
- Experience with backup systems and snapshots
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware/software issues, restore the environment to an operational state with minimal downtime, perform root cause analysis and provide a forward leaning mitigation strategy
- Ability to create/maintain/troubleshoot basic Linux scripts.
Desired Technical Skills:
- Oracle, Linux or Redhat Certification
- Understanding of proactive monitoring concepts
- Ability to to make recommendations to improve our Linux environment
- Experience with VMware virtual environment.
- Experience with CLOUD platforms (e.g. Azure, OCI)
