Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Equipment Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of our frac and yard fleet. Working closely with the Equipment Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating preventative maintenance, scheduling repairs, maintaining equipment records, managing parts inventory, and helping ensure all equipment is safe, compliant, and ready to support field operations.

Key Responsibilities- Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair schedules for frac and yard equipment.
- Assist with equipment inspections to ensure assets are safe, reliable, and job-ready.
- Maintain accurate service, inspection, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with mechanics, vendors, and suppliers to schedule repairs and procure parts.
- Monitor parts inventory and assist with ordering to minimize equipment downtime.
- Track equipment availability and communicate fleet status to operations and management.
- Assist with equipment mobilization and demobilization planning.
- Conduct routine field and yard inspections to identify maintenance needs and equipment deficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to equipment maintenance and utilization.
- Support the Equipment Manager with special projects and daily operational needs.
- Build positive working relationships with field personnel, vendors, and customers.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in equipment, fleet, maintenance coordination, construction, oil & gas, or a related industry preferred.
- Working knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and preventative maintenance practices.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with fleet maintenance software is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel to field locations as needed.
- Ability to work in both office and outdoor environments.
- Frequent walking through shop and yard areas.
- Ability to climb on and inspect heavy equipment.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and around heavy equipment.

Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
