Job Description

Facilities Maintenance Worker

Job Duties:

  1. Performs minor maintenance of carpentry, masonry, and plumbing.
  2. Paints walls, woodwork, and other items to maintain appearances in line with the maintenance function.
  3. Responds to Work Orders submitted by MRWH employees as assigned by your supervisor.
  4. Moves, transports, and repairs furniture in all facilities.
  5. Assists with fleet maintenance responsibilities, including ensuring vehicles are used in accordance with eligibility requirements, overseeing proper maintenance of all fleet vehicles, and maintaining compliance with grant requirements such as reporting, insurance, and asset tracking.
  6. May monitor PHLY tracking devices to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driving practices.
  7. Assists in the development and implementation of long-term maintenance plans for MRWH facilities in multiple counties, grounds, and real property installed equipment. Work is in Commercial and Residential buildings.
  8. Makes recommendations to supervisor for the best allocation and utilization of space management in accordance with local, state, and Federal laws and regulations.
  9. Must travel to MRWH facilities as needed.
  10. Performs other duties as assigned by Leadership.

Requirements:

  1. Knowledge and skills necessary to perform these duties and responsibilities are typically acquired through high school graduation and one year of job-related experience is required.
  2. Travel is required. Must have a personal vehicle, current vehicle insurance, and a valid Montana driver's license.
  3. Must be proficient in Word and Excel.
  4. Knowledge of a body of standardized rules, regulations and procedures, and the ability to apply them in working in Maintenance Services and with commercial heating and ventilation systems, road vehicles, the application of herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers, plumbing, and painting is preferred.
  5. Knowledge of best driving, delivery, vehicle maintenance, and other industry best practices.
  6. Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed.

Wage $17.55 per hour + DOE

All Positions at Many Rivers Whole Health must pass Background Checks and Motor Vehicle Record Check as well as a background check with DPHHS. Will be required to take Sexual Abuse Training.
