Job Title: Office Assistant / Home Care Aide (Hybrid Position)
Location: Rockford, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Join Our Team!Golden Touch Home Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and organized Office Assistant / Home Care Aide to join our Rockford branch. This is a unique hybrid role that combines office support with direct client care, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and making a difference.
Position SummaryThe Office Assistant / Home Care Aide will provide administrative support to the Branch Manager and Supervisor while ensuring excellent customer service to our clients and caregivers. When client coverage is needed, this position will also provide in-home caregiving services within our service area.
ResponsibilitiesOffice Duties:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally.
- Welcome clients, caregivers, and visitors to the office.
- Assist with scheduling, filing, data entry, and maintaining employee and client records.
- Support the Branch Manager and Supervisor with daily office operations.
- Assist with caregiver onboarding and administrative paperwork.
- Follow up with caregivers and clients as directed.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Home Care Duties (As Needed):
- Travel to client homes to provide caregiving services when coverage is needed.
- Assist clients with personal care, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and other activities of daily living.
- Document services provided according to company policies.
- Maintain professionalism and compassionate care at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous office or customer service experience preferred.
- Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred (or willingness to be trained).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Willingness to travel throughout the service area to assist clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, and data entry).
- Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule (9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
