As an Account Executive - SMB, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by helping small and mid-sized businesses strengthen their security and access management strategies. This position combines new business development, account expansion, and consultative selling within a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will manage the full sales cycle, build lasting customer relationships, and identify opportunities to deliver measurable business value. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage modern sales technologies and strategic outreach to grow your territory and exceed performance goals. - Drive new customer acquisition within an assigned SMB territory through a combination of outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, and partner collaboration.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial outreach and discovery through product demonstrations, proposal development, negotiation, and contract close.
- Expand existing customer relationships by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with consistent forecasting accuracy and disciplined territory management.
- Deliver consultative sales engagements by understanding customer pain points, business risks, and desired outcomes.
- Collaborate with marketing, channel partners, solutions consultants, sales operations, and enablement teams to maximize territory performance.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive developments, and market dynamics to effectively position solutions and create customer value.
- Utilize CRM and sales engagement platforms to optimize productivity, maintain data accuracy, and support strategic decision-making.
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets while contributing to overall business growth.
- Proven success in a quota-carrying SaaS sales role with demonstrated achievement in new business acquisition and revenue growth.
- Experience managing full sales cycles, including prospecting, qualification, discovery, presentations, negotiations, and closing.
- Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning skills.
- Proficiency with modern sales tools and CRM platforms, including Salesforce and sales engagement technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders, including technical, financial, and executive decision-makers.
- Consultative, value-based selling approach focused on aligning solutions with customer challenges and business outcomes.
- Strong organizational skills, personal accountability, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and results-driven mindset with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Adaptability, coachability, and willingness to continuously improve based on feedback and evolving market conditions.
- Experience in cybersecurity, identity management, channel sales, AI-powered sales tools, forecasting platforms, or structured sales methodologies is considered an advantage.
- Base salary ranging from $51,600 to $60,000 USD annually.
- On-target earnings (OTE) ranging from $103,200 to $120,000 USD annually, including commission opportunities.
