Compliance Manager, Regulatory Relationships & Governance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Compliance Manager, Regulatory Relationships & Governance based in Switzerland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional to play a key role in supporting regulatory governance and compliance initiatives across multiple European jurisdictions. Working within a dynamic and international environment, you will collaborate with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to strengthen regulatory relationships, maintain governance frameworks, and ensure adherence to evolving regulatory requirements. The role offers broad exposure to regulatory engagement, policy management, risk assessment, and compliance oversight activities. You will contribute to high-impact projects while helping foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and regulatory excellence. Accountabilities
  • Support relationships with regulatory authorities by coordinating communications, preparing materials, and facilitating responses to regulatory requests and inquiries.
  • Draft, review, and manage regulatory correspondence in collaboration with legal, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Assist with governance activities, ensuring regulatory submissions, filings, and disclosures are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain and update compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, governance frameworks, manuals, and supporting records.
  • Conduct and support regulatory risk assessments, ensuring risks are documented, monitored, and appropriately managed.
  • Track regulatory developments and legislative changes, supporting impact assessments and implementation activities across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Coordinate compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and assurance initiatives to evaluate adherence to internal and external requirements.
  • Support the development and delivery of compliance training programs while monitoring participation and completion metrics.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting obligations, record-keeping requirements, and governance processes related to market conduct and compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders to promote consistent compliance practices and regulatory alignment across the organization.
  • Contribute to strategic projects involving regulatory change management, governance enhancements, and compliance transformation initiatives.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, governance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and regulatory engagement processes, ideally within financial services, energy, commodities, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with regulatory authorities and compliance requirements within European or international markets.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional regulatory documentation and stakeholder communications.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Analytical mindset with experience assessing regulatory risks, interpreting requirements, and supporting compliance decision-making.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced and evolving regulatory environment.
  • Experience supporting compliance training, governance programs, assurance activities, or regulatory reporting processes is advantageous.
