Account Executive, Fire/EMS

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive, Fire/EMS based in the United States.

This is a high-impact field sales role focused on transforming how Fire/EMS agencies leverage drone technology to improve emergency response and save lives. You will act as a trusted advisor to fire departments, EMS agencies, USAR, HazMat, and emergency management teams, guiding them through evaluation, adoption, and scaling of advanced UAS solutions. The role blends technical credibility with strategic relationship-building across public safety leadership and government stakeholders. You will own a large territory, driving adoption through in-person engagement, demonstrations, and deep operational consulting. Success in this role requires real-world fire service experience and the ability to translate frontline needs into modern operational capabilities. You will work closely with internal product and implementation teams to ensure deployments deliver measurable impact in the field. This is a highly travel-intensive position, ideal for someone energized by being on the ground with customers.

Accountabilities:

This role is responsible for driving adoption of public safety drone programs across Fire/EMS agencies within a defined territory. You will build and manage long-term relationships with fire service leadership while guiding agencies through evaluation, procurement, and implementation of UAS solutions.

  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with Fire/EMS agencies, including chiefs, command staff, and elected officials
  • Deliver compelling in-person and virtual demonstrations tailored to operational and executive audiences
  • Act as a subject matter expert on drone operations, deployment models, regulatory frameworks, and best practices
  • Support agencies in building Drone as First Responder (DFR), HazMat, USAR, wildfire, and emergency response programs
  • Assist with funding strategies, budgeting, procurement planning, and implementation roadmaps
  • Collaborate with internal product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure successful deployments
  • Represent the organization at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
  • Maintain deep awareness of emerging public safety technologies and UAS industry trends
Requirements:

The ideal candidate brings real-world fire service experience combined with strong knowledge of public safety operations and emerging drone applications. This role requires credibility, autonomy, and the ability to engage senior decision-makers effectively.

  • 5+ years of experience in the fire service
  • Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with public safety UAS operations
  • Strong understanding of Fire/EMS command structures, incident response, and operational workflows
  • Experience engaging with leadership-level stakeholders including fire chiefs and municipal officials
  • Ability to discuss deployment models, dispatch integration, procurement, and operational planning
  • Strong presentation, communication, and public speaking skills
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage a large geographic territory independently
  • Willingness and ability to travel at least 75% of the time
  • Wildland, high-rise, or fire air operations experience preferred
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred
  • Prior experience supporting or managing drone programs is a strong plus
  • Sales or business development experience is beneficial
