- Lead global media relations strategy, building and executing PR plans that strengthen brand visibility and market leadership in cybersecurity and AI.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, editors, analysts, and influencers across technology, security, and enterprise media.
- Create high-quality communications materials including press releases, media pitches, op-eds, Q&As, briefing documents, and executive messaging.
- Manage and guide external PR agencies across U.S. and international markets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and measurable outcomes.
- Drive executive communications and thought leadership initiatives, including speeches, presentations, and public positioning.
- Oversee rapid-response communications, ensuring timely and effective commentary on breaking news and industry developments.
- Partner with internal teams to translate research, product innovation, and threat intelligence into compelling external narratives.
- Monitor media coverage, sentiment, and competitive positioning to refine communication strategies and identify opportunities.
- 8–10+ years of experience in media relations, corporate communications, or PR, ideally within high-growth technology or cybersecurity sectors.
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, including familiarity with AppSec, DevSecOps, security tools, and enterprise risk environments.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, including generative AI, agentic systems, and emerging security implications.
- Proven track record of building relationships with U.S. and international tech/security media outlets.
- Experience managing external PR agencies, including performance oversight and budget accountability.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and verbal communication skills, with experience in both proactive and rapid-response communications.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, distributed environments.
- High executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business narratives.
