Albers Aerospace is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Director of Marketing and Communications to lead and scale the company’s marketing, communications, branding, and executive visibility initiatives across all business units. This role will oversee corporate communications, executive communications, digital marketing, trade show strategy, social media, content development, and brand management in support of Albers Aerospace’s mission, growth objectives, and commitment to the warfighter.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and adaptable leader with strong experience in marketing, defense or aerospace communications, executive messaging, and integrated campaign execution. This role partners closely with executive leadership and business teams to drive communications, strengthen brand positioning, and support company growth initiatives.
The Director of Marketing and Communications will lead day-to-day marketing operations, ensuring alignment across branding, communications, executive visibility, digital marketing, events, and business development initiatives. This role will directly manage a small marketing team and collaborate cross-functionally to support company growth objectives and strategic initiatives.
This position will be remote for the first year with the expectation of relocating to HQ after the first year.
Essential Job Duties:
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies aligned with company objectives
- Own corporate branding, messaging, visual identity, and marketing collateral, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications.
- Manage and evolve Albers Aerospace’s digital presence, including website, LinkedIn, email campaigns, executive visibility, and social media channels
- Develop and execute executive communication strategies for internal and external audiences, including leadership messaging, company announcements, speeches, presentations, talking points, and Q&A preparation
- Identify and coordinate executive visibility opportunities including speaking engagements, awards, media opportunities, and industry recognition initiatives
- Create compelling, mission-driven content including capability highlights, press releases, case studies, videos, customer-facing collateral, presentations, and trade show campaigns
- Lead trade show and event marketing strategy, including planning, logistics, branded assets, vendor management, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-up.
- Track trade show and marketing expenses, event ROI, campaign performance metrics, and engagement KPIs to support strategic decision making and budget analysis
- Ensure consistency, quality, and alignment across all company branding, messaging, and communication deliverables while continuing to evolve and standardize Albers Aerospace collateral and visual identity
- Manage external vendors, agencies, photographers, videographers, creative partners, and outsourced marketing support as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing systems, processes, workflows, and operational efficiency across the organization
- Partner with Business Development, Operations, Engineering, HR, and executive leadership to support growth initiatives, proposals, customer engagement, and strategic communications.
- Lead and develop the marketing team while establishing scalable processes, tools, and best practices to support future growth.
- Flexibility may be required to work additional hours, evenings, weekends, and travel based on business demands, trade shows, events, and company priorities.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, branding, or related roles
- Minimum 2+ years of experience managing or leading team members, contractors, or cross-functional initiatives
- Strong experience in executive communications and strategic messaging
- Experience managing corporate social media and digital marketing campaigns
- Experience leading trade show and event marketing initiatives
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience developing content for B2B audiences and highly technical industries
- Proficiency with marketing and design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, LinkedIn Campaign
- Manager, Microsoft Office, and CRM/email marketing platforms
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong attention to detail and brand consistency
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting B2B, aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or other highly technical organizations.
- Teachable spirit with a willingness to learn the aerospace and defense industry
- Experience managing external agencies, contractors, and creative partners
- Experience with video production coordination, multimedia storytelling, and digital marketing initiatives
- Knowledge of SEO, analytics platforms, and digital advertising strategies preferred
- Experience supporting executive leadership teams and organizational communications during periods of growth and change
- Relocation to the Dallas, TX area after the first year preferred
