Job Description
The Opportunity
Streamline Urology is built on the belief that great clinical care starts with great clinical support. Our APPs and providers are out in the field every day — and the people behind them matter just as much as the care they deliver.
If you have spent your career building clinical expertise and are ready to use it in a new way — guiding, mentoring, and empowering the next generation of providers — this is the role for you.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for our APPs and providers across various care settings, offering real-time clinical guidance, workflow support, and escalation assistance — all on a flexible, on-call basis that works around your life. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership-adjacent position where your clinical instincts and communication skills directly impact provider confidence, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes. We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment that values your expertise, supports your growth, and gives you the flexibility to make this role genuinely yours.
What Will You Do
- Serve as a flexible on-call escalation contact for APPs/providers assigned by Streamline Urology.
- Respond to APP/provider questions and provide general clinical guidance, workflow guidance, communication support, and practical field support within Contractor's lawful scope and role limitations.
- Support APP/provider communication with Streamline Urology leadership when issues require escalation or follow-up.
- Conduct a one-hour initial new-hire orientation/training and clinical review session for each newly onboarded APP/provider when assigned and approved by Streamline Urology.
- Conduct a one-hour 30-day review with each newly onboarded APP/provider when assigned and approved by Streamline Urology.
- Assist with identifying recurring provider questions, workflow gaps, education needs, and process improvement opportunities.
- Escalate urgent, high-risk, outside-scope, or patient safety issues to the appropriate collaborating physician, medical director, facility leadership, emergency pathway, or Streamline Urology leadership.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patients, provider, facility, and business information received through the role.
Role Limitations
- This role does not involve direct patient care, diagnosis, treatment decisions, prescriptions, or chart attestation
- You will not serve as a collaborating physician, supervising physician, or medical director
- You will not direct APPs/providers to practice outside their licensure, training, or facility policies
- Active and unrestricted Advanced Practice Provider (APP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license, in good standing with the applicable state licensing board
- Strong communication and clinical support skills with the ability to guide and mentor field providers
- Ability to maintain flexible on-call availability and respond in a timely manner
- No active conflicts of interest, non-compete restrictions, or employment obligations that would prevent engagement
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
