Responsibilities of the position

• Serve as an expert clinician in assessing, planning, evaluating, and adjusting patient care across the lifespan.
• Lead initiatives that promote continuous quality improvement and positive patient outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient and community education programs.
• Identify and improve clinical processes to optimize care delivery and resource utilization.
• Foster effective communication across departments to support seamless care coordination.
• Follow all hospital policies, including those outlined in the Exposure Control Manual.
• Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when performing duties involving potential exposure risks.

Requirements

• Graduation from an approved course of study and experience acceptable to the New York State Board of Education to qualify for New York State Registration.
• Certified or eligible within one year, certified within two years.
• Continuing education requirements of 100 hours every two years, 40 hours of which are AMA Category I or equivalent.

Starting Salary: $145,496 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
