Cardiopulmonary Department Supervisor (Full-Time Days)

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and clinical standards
- Provide support and mentorship to department staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Monitor departmental performance metrics and assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Ensure proper documentation, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety protocols
- Participate in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- State licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the United States.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications PALS.
- Demonstrated experience working in a clinical respiratory therapy role, preferably in acute care settings.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
- Previous Supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working night shifts or in a 24-hour hospital environment.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and respiratory care documentation software.
- Strong background in mechanical ventilation management and pulmonary function testing.
- Previous involvement in respiratory therapy quality improvement or patient education programs.
