We are seeking a Continuous Improvement Analyst who identifies and implements opportunities to improve business processes, systems, and workflows by analyzing operations, measuring performance, and driving solutions that enhance quality, efficiency, scalability, and user adoption. Working closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and technology teams, this role bridges operations and strategies to optimize processes, support organizational change, and deliver measurable business value. The position aligns with CCI’s commitment to operational excellence, innovation, and scalable growth, and supports the Continuous Improvement initiatives outlined in Innovation and Emerging Technologies planning efforts.


Responsibilities

  • Identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across departments and business units.
  • Develop recommendations that improve quality, efficiency, throughput, and scalability.
  • Assist in prioritizing improvement opportunities based on business impact and strategic value.
  • Document current-state and future-state workflows using process maps, SOPs, and workflow diagrams.
  • Analyze business processes to identify bottlenecks, unnecessary handoffs, and non-value-added activities.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and working sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain metrics that measure operational performance and process effectiveness.
  • Quantify business value through cycle-time reduction, quality improvements, productivity gains, cost avoidance, and adoption of metrics.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and executive summaries that communicate improvement outcomes.
  • Support implementation of approved process improvements.
  • Partner with project managers, business leaders, and operational teams to drive adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Collect feedback, monitor adoption, and recommend continuous enhancements.
  • Partner with operational leaders, PMO resources, technology teams, and subject matter experts.
  • Facilitate improvement discussions and problem-solving workshops.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
  • Support Enterprise Innovation initiatives and Proofs of Concept (POCs) through process analysis, KPI development, governance activities, and value realization reporting.
  • Participate in enterprise portfolio reviews and cross-functional governance discussions to ensure alignment between continuous improvement initiatives and strategic business priorities.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management, or equivalent field of study.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Business Analysis, or equivalent.
  • Experience with developing and mapping processes, creating comprehensive business process documentation, and providing necessary process improvements throughout the life of projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, Jira or Azure DevOps, Visio or other process mapping tools.
  • Experience with KPI reporting.
  • Lean process experience and/or certifications, i.e., Six Sigma Green Belt IASSC, or Kaizen preferred.
  • Strong project management and problem solving/root cause analysis skills.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Willing and able to continue education in Process Improvement and Operational Excellence.
  • The ability to embrace corporate values, understand the company vision, and exemplify CCI leadership behaviors.
  • Additional Information

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Travel up to 30% based on business needs, conferences, customer engagements, and collaboration sessions.
  • Shift is Monday-Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CST but must be able to work outside normal business hours when required.
