Responsibilities
The Specialist, Corporate Warehouse Operations will provide support to warehouse management by working on a variety of projects and handling various administrative tasks to support daily operations.

- Monitor emails and requests.
- Assist management with job aide creation, which are work instructions for specific customer related tasks.
- Assist management with preparing for new hires by tracking start dates and greeting all on their first day, while also providing tours of the building and confirming their arrival to HR.
- Assist management with collecting and ensuring completion of temporary employee new hire paperwork and coordinate with HR.
- When applicable, take employee badge photos and distribute company badges once they arrive.
- Assist management with monthly and annual OSHA forms.
- Order and maintain office supplies.
- Assist with scheduling cleanings for the warehouse and offices within the building.
- Assist management with entering and correcting temporary and regular employee entries in the company’s time keeping systems as directed by management.
- Assist with organizing employee appreciation activities and community outreach events at the warehouse as directed by HR and Experience, including, but not limited to, research of activities, placing orders and picking up supplies locally.
- Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, including email and faxes.
- Distribute mail throughout the warehouse and assist with hanging new labor law posters as they arrive.
- Take minute notes during meetings and customer visits.
- Attend meetings involving recruiters and new hires starting at the designated warehouse while staying up to date on the location’s job openings.
- Compose and type routine correspondence.
- Maintain communication and good working relationship with employees and outside vendors.
- Regular attendance required.
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The qualifications listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Ability to drive personal car between buildings within the same market.
- Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to write comprehensive and detailed business correspondence.
- Ability to work with groups of people such as other departments and communicate known concepts.
- Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis.
- Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.

SUPERVISION
Position functions with supervision and has no direct reports.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 1-3 years of experience in Transportation or Warehousing preferred. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Valid non-commercial driver’s license.
TRAVEL
Periodic travel up to 10% required.

Normal office situation. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is also regularly in the warehouse exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme cold and/or heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the warehouse work environment is usually loud.
