Responsibilities
Processes applications for Medical Staff and/or Dependent Allied Health Staff appointment and reappointment in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Maintains current electronic data base and files for each staff member. May attend/facilitate credentials committee or other medical staff meetings and provide assistance to those committees as needed. Performs other duties as may be necessary to support the timely and accurate credentialing and privileging process and operation of the organized medical staff.
**This role offers a hybrid work option. Initial training will take place at a Norton Healthcare facility, and you must be available to come onsite for business needs as required. Employees in this position must reside in Kentucky or Indiana.**

Desired:
- One year in a medical staff office responsible for credentialing
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist OR Certified Professional Medical Services Management
