Job Description

Sr. Marketing Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Marketing Analyst based in United States.

This senior individual contributor role will own how marketing performance is measured, understood, and improved across both B2B and B2C growth initiatives. You’ll serve as a strategic analytics partner to marketing, growth, lifecycle, SEO, and business teams, going beyond reporting to surface actionable insights. The role combines marketing attribution, acquisition analytics, pipeline measurement, registration funnels, forecasting, and experimentation. You’ll help establish reliable measurement foundations while identifying opportunities to improve marketing investment and user conversion. Working closely with Data Engineering and business leaders, you’ll influence decisions through rigorous analysis and clear recommendations. This is an opportunity to shape analytics practices in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while operating with significant autonomy.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the measurement strategy for B2B marketing and pipeline performance, defining key metrics, calculation methodologies, reporting standards, and data sources.
  • Analyze marketing channels and campaigns to determine their contribution to qualified leads, opportunities, pipeline, and closed business, helping guide future demand-generation investment.
  • Develop leading-indicator reporting and forecasting frameworks that provide marketing and sales leadership with early visibility into pipeline health.
  • Own the B2B attribution model, including touchpoint and channel definitions and data flows across marketing automation, CRM, and data warehouse systems.
  • Manage end-to-end B2C acquisition and registration analytics, measuring funnel performance, channel attribution, user behavior, and conversion.
  • Measure paid acquisition efficiency, including cost per registration, cost per qualified lead, and the relationship between marketing spend and user conversion.
  • Partner with Growth Marketing and Lifecycle teams to size opportunities, design and evaluate growth experiments, troubleshoot tracking issues, and maintain day-to-day reporting.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics that enable marketing, growth, lifecycle, and leadership teams to answer recurring business questions independently.
  • Own organic search analytics across page types, traffic sources, and user journeys, while monitoring changes in organic performance and measuring the impact of product and algorithm changes.
  • Partner with Product and Data Engineering teams to define event tracking, data models, semantic-layer requirements, and measurement foundations.
  • Champion rigorous analytical practices through reproducible SQL, documented methodologies, validated results, and careful distinction between correlation and causation.
  • Review and pressure-test analyses from other analysts and business partners, improving the quality and clarity of insights.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for acquisition-funnel data, ensuring analyses begin with accurate sources, definitions, and methodologies.
  • Contribute to dbt models and self-service analytics infrastructure while serving as the business voice for measurement requirements and quality assurance.
  • Promote AI-assisted analytics by applying modern AI tools responsibly, developing reliable workflows, and helping colleagues adopt effective approaches.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders with a clear explanation of the insight, business implications, and recommended next steps.
  • Mentor fellow analysts informally and share analytical techniques and best practices across the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, data analytics, or a closely related analytical function.
  • Demonstrated experience owning marketing measurement end to end, from tracking implementation through reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Hands-on experience with consumer acquisition data and web analytics or paid media platforms such as GA4, Meta, Google Ads, or equivalent tools.
  • Direct experience with B2B marketing and pipeline analytics, including lead and MQL lifecycles, multi-touch attribution, campaign contribution, pipeline generation, and conversion through closed business.
  • Experience working with marketing automation, CRM, and attribution platforms such as Marketo, Marketo Measure, and Salesforce, including diagnosing data-quality and integration issues.
  • Senior-level proficiency in SQL, with the ability to independently write, review, troubleshoot, and validate complex queries.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization and dashboarding platforms such as Streamlit, Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.
  • Working knowledge of modern data stacks, including Snowflake, dbt, and version-controlled analytics workflows.
  • Experience with experimentation and quantitative methods, including designing and evaluating A/B and growth tests and accurately interpreting statistical signals.
  • Strong ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent judgment around data limitations, with the confidence to clearly communicate when available data cannot reliably answer a business question.
  • Experience working effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior individual contributor, influence without authority, work independently on complex problems, and mentor peers.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted analytics tools such as Claude Code, with a rigorous approach to validating AI-generated outputs.
  • Experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Experience with SEO analytics, including indexation, page-level organic performance, and technical SEO measurement, is a plus.
  • Experience contributing to semantic layers or self-service metrics platforms is a plus.
  • Background in SaaS, education technology, marketplace analytics, or the education sector is a plus.

Benefits:

  • National target base salary of $93,760–$117,200 USD, depending on experience and skills.
  • Annual bonus and stock option program participation.
  • Fully flexible work model, allowing employees to work remotely, from an office, or through a combination that suits their needs.
  • 100% company-paid employee health plan, including vision, dental, and supplemental coverage.
  • Flexible Paid Time Off policy.
  • Work-from-home office stipend.
  • 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all employees, plus short-term disability for birthing parents.
  • 401(k) plan with employer match.
  • Opportunity to make an immediate impact on products and services used by millions of people.
  • Collaborative environment focused on employee well-being, meaningful work, and celebrating team achievements.
  • Position available only to candidates legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Hiring is currently limited to eligible U.S. states where the organization has employees.
  • Interviews are conducted remotely.
